‘Will assist them’… The sports finance specialist estimates how many points Nottingham Forest will be deducted

Dr Rob Wilson, a sports finance expert, has forecast how many points Nottingham Forest will be deducted.

The individual has been chatting with I News.

So, what has the man who knows about these things said about Forest? Let’s analyze the situation…

Dr. Rob Wilson forecasts the number of points Nottingham Forest will lose.

This is a situation that may come to a head soon, as Forest’s case is scheduled to be heard this week.

The Reds have an anxious wait to find out what their penalty will be, and a points deduction could be disastrous.

Everton’s 10-point deduction was reduced to six on appeal, and Forest will be able to contest any punishment they receive.

Wilson believes Forest will not face a worse situation than Everton faced and has forecast how many points will be deducted.

He told I News: “I don’t think it will be bigger than Everton’s; I think it will be around half the size. I think they’ll get three or four points.

“The Brennan Johnson case will serve as mitigation, just as Everton was able to demonstrate that they have had a low net spend in recent years as a result of their former high net spend.

“Forest will refer to the fact that they did sell Brennan Johnson, and that sale brought them back into compliance – assuming it did. Eventually, this will benefit them. You have taken away that particular player’s sports advantage.”

Wilson’s comments are curious, to say the least.

The sports finance expert has prior experience with similar situations, which bodes well.

Forest will be hoping that Nick De Marco can use his wizardry to get him off as lightly as possible.

The Reds will have to learn from this tragedy, and if they want to stay in the Premier League, they will need to work harder in the market.

It’s good to hear someone of Wilson’s type discuss Forest.

Too many commentators cannot be objective, and hopefully it is limited to the three or four points he has forecast.
