Leeds United are now officially the most in-form team in European football, having won their first eight Championship matches in 2024.
The Whites have defeated every opponent since beginning their run with a 3-0 victory over Birmingham City on New Year’s Day.
They have kept a remarkable seven clean sheets in those eight games, surrendering only once in a 2-1 victory over Preston.
Leeds United hoping for an immediate Premier League comeback.
Leeds have moved up to second place in the Championship after scoring 24 points out of a possible 24. They will face league leaders Leicester City later this week.
According to TEAMtalk via Twitter [21 February], no team has scored more points in European football over that time.
Manchester City, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich are next on the list, each with 22 points, followed by Liverpool and Real Madrid (20 points).

According to Phil Hay of The Athletic, it was “over the top” to call for Farke’s dismissal following losses to Preston and West Brom – and so it has proven.
Farke did well to drown out the noise and discover a winning formula, which, as things stand, will catapult Leeds back to the Premier League.
This winning streak will not go forever, of course, but the last six weeks will undoubtedly determine if United can climb back up.
