Two Premier League clubs are interested in Nottingham Forest’s £70 million star, but one prefers him as a left-back, according to a journalist

A Nottingham Forest player is now being pursued by two Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer season.

The opportunity for clubs to sign players is not yet open, but preparations are already underway.

Forest must sell players before June 30th to avoid another point reduction for violating profitability and sustainability criteria.

Nuno Espirito Santo will want his team to be judged exclusively on the pitch this season, with four points deducted from his team in 2023/24.

It has now been revealed that one player is being monitored by two teams, with bids expected for some of the top stars.

Two Premier League clubs want Forest’s Murillo.

Daniel Taylor, the Forest-supporting journalist, has been doing a Q&A with The Athletic today and has explored Murillo’s future.

He claims that two Premier League clubs are very interested in bidding for Murillo once the transfer market opens.

Furthermore, he has stated that one Premier League club views him as a left-back rather than a centre-back, where he has excelled since joining Forest.

Murillo was a constant presence in the Premier League after making his debut against Brentford in October.

Forest held off competition from Manchester City before moving to the City Ground for £10.4 million in the summer.

It has lately been rumored that Forest may value Murillo at up to £70 million, representing a considerable profit.

Given Forest’s position in the food chain, the club will be at the mercy of larger teams this summer.

The Reds also face the additional challenge of financial fair play.

Murillo appears to be leaving this summer, and if so, Forest will earn significantly from his sale.

The 21-year-old has demonstrated incredible talent, and the ultimate task is to replace him with a player of comparable level.

Forest have discovered some real jewels in South America, and hopefully, the club is working on a replacement for the left side of the defence if he departs.

It’s unfortunate that Forest won’t be able to keep Murillo, but the current situation will make it incredibly tough this summer.
