Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
According to HITC, Tottenham have joined Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the hunt to recruit the 22-year-old French winger. Olise has established himself as a key player for Crystal Palace, and his performances have piqued the interest of big clubs.
Spurs could use additional depth in the wide areas, and the 22-year-old Frenchman can play on either flank. He also has the technical skills and passing ability to play in the number 10 position.
Olise is predicted to develop into a top-tier player with proper coaching and supervision. He could emerge as a significant player for Tottenham in the next seasons.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are interested in signing the winger as well. They need to add depth to their attack, and Mikel Arteta hasn’t been able to rotate players like Bukayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli. Olise will not only give depth to the team, but his ability to play in numerous positions will also provide tactical versatility.
The possibility to join a large club will be appealing to the young winger, and it remains to be seen where he will finish up.
Crystal Palace is unlikely to sanction his exit midway through the season, therefore any deal would have to wait until the summer transfer window.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked to the player. Aside from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz, Liverpool needs additional specialist wingers. Olise could be a good long-term investment for them.
Working under a world-class manager like Jurgen Klopp might help the Frenchman reach his full potential.
Manchester City require upgrades for Jadon Sancho and Antony. The French winger clearly fits the bill, and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will win the competition for his services.
The 22-year-old winger has five goals and one assist in nine Premier League games this season.
