Clarín reported on Thursday that Ramón Sosa and Talleres president Andrés Fassi traveled to England to finalize his move to Nottingham Forest.

The 24-year-old’s transfer to Nottingham Forest is still pending. That is at least what Olé is stating, and they add that the president has cancelled his trip to Europe.

Nottingham Forest had their initial offer rejected by Talleres, but they agreed to improve their proposal to obtain closer to $15 million excluding bonuses.

According to sources from the Argentine side, there is a ‘significant gap’ between the deal agreed upon by the Reds and the bid proposed to Talleres.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s team is expected to resolve the issue as Fassi travels to Europe in the coming hours to finalize Sosa’s transfer to Nottingham Forest.
Talleres manager Walter Ribonetto reports that the winger is training alone.

“He’s training, but he’s doing nothing against the opponent. With the ball, but individually. “He’s getting physically fit after his vacation and the Copa América,” he explained.

Olé’s claim is supported by the president himself in an interview with La Voz Deportes.

When queried about the reported trip to England, Fassi stated, “I will travel if what we agreed on matches what is printed. For the time being, it is not, and they have changed everything! “We’ll see in the next few hours.”

According to La Voz Deportes, Talleres wants at least $15 million [£11.7 million], plus bonuses, to bring the total to $20 million [£15.7 million].

Sosa is anticipated to join the English club once they make a written offer at the same figures agreed upon with Talleres.
