The FA’s judgment benefits Leeds United, giving Daniel Farke a boost in the Championship

Leeds United will be hoping to extend their eight-game unbeaten record in the coming matches, and they have received a significant assistance in that regard.

Leeds are doing well under Daniel Farke this season, and their current Championship position fully explains why.

Norwich City are a side going steady in the Championship this season sitting just outside the playoffs, but have now faced a significant blow.

Borja Sainz, the Championship’s top scorer and Canaries’ attacker, has been suspended for six matches after admitting to spitting at Sunderland’s Chris Mepham in December.

The Spaniard has 15 goals in the second division this season and has proven to be one of the performers of the season, while Nigel Redfearn likes Dan James in terms of the finest attacker in the Championship.

Something has appeared regarding the suspension that works out in the advantage of Leeds.

Norwich’s Borja Sainz to miss Leeds United game after six-match ban

Borja Sainz of Norwich will miss Leeds United’s FA Cup encounter against Harrogate Town on Saturday due to a six-match ban. Daniel Farke’s side has a hectic schedule.

This adds to their impending games, as Leeds will face Sheffield Wednesday in the following Championship encounter, followed by Norwich.

Ultimately, Leeds will not face Sainz, who has been crucial for Johannes Thorup this season.

Sainz did send an apology via Norwich club channels for the incident, stating that he accepts “full responsibility” and “deeply regrets” what he did.

Sainz’s absence may not benefit Leeds.

Despite not scoring since November, he has been a key player for the Canaries this season, giving Leeds a significant advantage in the game.

Farke’s side will want to make amends for Leeds’ 3-3 draw against Hull City, and one player may be relieved that he will not have to face Sainz’s goalscoring form after Illan Meslier’s nightmare performance in Hull.

Despite his form this season, Sainz never appeared to get it right against Leeds in their four meetings.

Leeds will be relieved that Sainz’s absence is no longer a concern, but they must focus on their performance in order to defeat Norwich.
