The 26-year-old claims he’d want to play for Leeds in the Premier League next season; he’d cost £20 million

Leeds United have excelled defensively this season. The best defensive record in the division, allowing only 28 goals in 35 Championship games. Joe Rodon has had a major role.

The 26-year-old has been a man mountain at the back, helping Leeds retain 15 clean sheets in 36 league and cup appearances. The desire to sign him is as strong as possible.

Tottenham are said to seek £20 million for their centre-back, but with his contract at Spurs set to expire in the summer of 2025, the asking price could fall in the summer. There is interest in him.

Mystery Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping an eye on things ahead of the summer transfer season. It has been alleged that promotion is essential to retain his services. It makes sense financially.

But Rodon’s position is obvious. Rodon, who spoke to Sgorio over the weekend with Connor Roberts, Dan James, and Ethan Ampadu, expressed his desire to play alongside his Welsh teammates in England’s top flight.

“It would be a wonderful journey if we could make it. All of our [four Wales stars’] adventures have lead us to this time. It would be fantastic for the team, and for all of us to play in the Premier League.”

Joe Rodon gives the greatest permanent Leeds United hint yet.

Rodon has recently stated that he would like to stay with Leeds if the club is promoted to the top division of English football. If Leeds do win promotion, you can bet the Whites will sign the defender.

However, if the side fails to achieve promotion, Premier League clubs are expected to pursue the centre-back. Rodon’s head will undoubtedly be turned, and we will be unable to spend £20 million on a player.

Parachute payments are reduced, Financial Fairplay laws are stricter outside of the Premier League, and Rodon will undoubtedly believe he has earned another chance in the Premier League. Promotion is vitally essential.
