Liverpool go to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in what looks to be an exciting tactical fight in the Premier League.

The Reds are now four points ahead of Sunday’s opponents and will try to maintain their strong start to the season under Arne Slot.

With seven victories and one loss in eight Premier League games this season, the Liverpool manager has quietly gone about his business, stamping his dominance at Anfield in double quick time.

Arsenal, on the other hand, has suffered in recent weeks owing to injuries and requires a solid outcome to remain in the title chase.

Gary Neville has made an intriguing prediction as the game approaches.

Gary Neville expects Arsenal will beat Liverpool.

Martin Odegaard, Takahiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney are injured, and William Saliba is suspended after receiving a red card against Bournemouth.

Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are in a race against time to prove their health, so the Gunners have a number of worries to address before the game.

Nonetheless, Neville believes Liverpool will finish second at the Emirates, and he expects Slot to suffer his first road defeat this season.

‘This is the big one—the emotional one! “I’m not having a 0-0, and I don’t want one,” Neville stated on Stick to Football.

    “I can’t watch a 0-0 on Sunday! 1-1 or 2-2 is acceptable, but I despise 0-0. I need a winner, or goals. I’ll tell you what: I believe Arsenal will win 2-1.

    Liverpool’s recent record against Arsenal.

Last season, Arsenal won the comparable encounter 3-1, defeating Liverpool in a game in which Ibrahima Konate received a red card.

However, in the 11 previous games, the Reds had the advantage in this fixture, as evidenced by the following record.

    • Six wins
    • Four draws
    • One loss
    • 22 goals scored
    • Eight conceded

Liverpool can go seven points ahead of Arsenal with a win, and with the Gunners battling with injuries, Slot has an excellent opportunity to secure a statement win away from home.
