Supercomputer predicts QPR v Leeds result

On Saturday, Leeds United will travel to London to face QPR in one of the Championship’s early kickoffs.

Following their stunning loss to Portsmouth last Sunday, the Whites bounced back with a comfortable win over Millwall at Elland Road in midweek.

Daniel Farke’s team asserted their authority as league leaders after defeating the Lions 2-0 at home. Leeds now leads the standings by two points following their victory. Sheffield United and Burnley are second and third, with 77 and 75 points, respectively.

QPR have lost their previous four Championship games and are anxious to win again, but facing the league leaders is a monumental job.

QPR will be no match for Leeds.

Marti Cifuentes’ QPR side is struggling and having a dismal run of form. Visitors Leeds had a minor setback against Portsmouth, but they are on a good run of form, having lost only one of their last 19 Championship matches.

Leeds have set their sights on Premier League promotion, which they are on track to achieve if they maintain their present intensity and form.

With QPR meeting Leeds, Opta’s supercomputer has projected the various outcomes of the match. The supercomputer predicts that Leeds will win all three points at Loftus Road 56% of the time.

Given QPR’s terrible form, the supercomputer gives them only a 21% chance of winning the match. There is also a 21% chance that both parties will share the spoils in west London.

Manor Solomon must start against QPR.

Manor Solomon has been a success at Elland Road since signing on loan from Tottenham at the beginning of the season. In 30 Championship games, the Israel international has scored seven goals and contributed seven assists.

Solomon was on the margins of the Tottenham squad, but a loan move has put his career back on track. His explosive presence on the left wing makes him a threat, and he should start against the Redskins.

The West Yorkshire club is already impressed with Solomon and intends to sign the Israel international permanently next summer if they are promoted. Spurs plan to offload the 25-year-old in the summer in order to reduce their wage bill.

Solomon was impressive against Millwall and almost got a goal, hitting the woodwork. He looks in fine touch and should start against QPR.
