    Leeds United teammates react when Luke Humphries defeats Luke Littler in the World Darts Championship. Luke Humphries fought back from a 4-2 deficit to defeat teen Luke Littler in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship on Wednesday, and Leeds United’s Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas reacted.

     

    After reaching the final at the youthful age of 16, Littler has stolen the hearts of the nation and put darts back under the microscope. Humphries, a Leeds fan, faced the Manchester United fan. final

    The latter has already won the World Grand Prix in 2023, as well as the Players Championship Finals and the Grand Slam of Darts. Humphries became the world’s number one after winning the World Darts Championship semi-final.

    He faced Littler in one of the most eagerly anticipated Darts finals in years, and after six sets, Humphries found himself struggling as adolescent phenom Littler continued to dazzle fans on the oche.

    Humphries, on the other hand, demonstrated why he is the best in the world by winning five sets in a row to win the PDC World Darts Championship 7-4 at Ally Pally. Humphries’ victory was filled with emotion.

    Especially since the Leeds-born superstar has never won the competition. However, it is another item crossed off the list after a spectacular year. Not only that, but Humphries is claimed to be paid a whopping £2.5 million.

    Many people witnessed his victory on social media, including Leeds players Ayling and Dallas. When Humphries recently paid a visit to the Darts squad at Thorp Arch, the pair were among those photographed with the Darts star.

    Both Leeds stars shared their experiences on Instagram. “Go on, fella!” shouted Ayling. “Well done, mate.” Dallas also commented on social media, saying, “Incredible darts.” Congratulations. “The greatest on the planet.”
