Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has revealed insights into Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso’s injury, characterizing it as ‘complex’.
The Argentine suffered a hamstring injury during the match against Burnley and has been out since.
The degree of Lo Celso’s injuries is still unknown, according to O’Keefe.
The Evening Standard recently stated that Lo Celso’s return date remained unknown, and Dr Brar has now provided his expert view on the subject.
He discloses that the midfielder is struggling with both hamstring and thigh issues, hampering his recovery. He suggests that Lo Celso may not be fit for the forthcoming match against Brighton.
Speaking to Tottenham News, he stated:
“In addition to his thigh injury, he has a hamstring injury, so there is the added risk that it is in a more problematic place, such as near the tendon.
“This suggests that nerve involvement is considerably higher, which can lead to a variety of complications in the future.
“It’s critical that the team does not hurry into bringing him back.
“Seems like they’re taking his fitness on a game by game basis which is the right thing to do so he may not be back for the next game if he has not recovered.”
Lo Celso has turned in some of his best Spurs performances under Ange Postecoglou, albeit playing in a supporting role.
He has made a huge contribution with four goals (two goals and two assists) in ten league outings, filling in brilliantly for James Maddison.
