George Sessions, a journalist, has given the most recent information about Tottenham transfer target Antonio Nusa.
Tottenham have had a good summer thus far, with a couple of early acquisitions. They acquired Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig and Radu Dragusin from Genoa.
Spurs, on the other hand, are not done yet; they are still active in the market and hope to sign another player in the final week of January.
According to George Sessions, they are close to concluding a deal for Antonio Nusa, a highly regarded Club Brugge player.
He reiterated Spurs’ strong desire to capture the youngster and stated that the absence of recent developments is not a cause for concern.
Speaking on The Spurs Chat Podcast, Sessions stated:
“The second half of the window was focused on him. I wouldn’t be overly concerned that the news broke last week and nothing has happened since. I would not worry too much. Spurs certainly want Antonio Nusa, and he was discussed in the summer, so he has been on their radar for quite some time.
“If I were to stick my neck on the line, I would say that Spurs will probably get this done, especially with this being a loan that suits Club Brugge.”
The North London team has begun talks with the Belgian club and is now preparing to enter the next phase of negotiations to finalize the deal for the promising youngster.
The 18-year-old is unwilling to make a move in the middle of the season, therefore both parties may agree on a contract in which Nusa will be loaned to Bruges until the conclusion of the season before completing a permanent transfer.
The teenager has not played frequently this season due to a chronic back issue, which has forced him to miss eight games for the team.
Nonetheless, in the Belgian League, the Norwegian has three goals and two assists in six starts out of 15 games.
