According to TEAMtalk, Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers is about to leave Ibrox on permanent terms.

According to the news site, the Gers want to get rid of the Nigeria international, and he is willing to play.

Although there has been interest in the 30-year-old, the club has yet to receive a transfer bid for him.

According to the source, “They are attempting to sell striker Cyriel Dessers.

“The 30-year-old has not been warmly received by Rangers supporters, and despite scoring 34 goals for the club since his arrival in the summer of 2023, his performances have fallen far below expectations. The club wanted to sell him last summer and employed middlemen to locate an offer.

“There were multiple Serie A sides keen but no offer came to pass and he stayed at Ibrox this season, he is now aware the club want to sell him and sources have confirmed he is ready to leave.”

Rangers need to trade Cyriel Dessers in January.

Gers must do everything in their power to sell Dessers this month, since his time with the club appears to be finished.

Since going to Ibrox in 2023, the Nigerian has failed to meet the expectations set by his 34 goals.

His performances have been underwhelming, resulting in a huge loss of faith among fans and management.

The repeated sentiment among supporters, along with the club’s evident willingness to send him on, suggests a desire for a fresh start for all parties.

With the transfer window open, Rangers must achieve a deal not only to improve their financial situation, but also to make place for new signings who can rejuvenate the squad.

His readiness to quit streamlines the process even more, making it critical for Gers to act quickly to assist this transfer and restore some trust in the team’s direction.
