According to Training Ground Guru, Martin Diggle will leave Liverpool and become the next Leeds United Academy Director at Elland Road.

On Thursday, February 22, the website announced that he will replace Adam Underwood behind the scenes. In July 2023, Underwood, who had been Academy Manager since 2009, was elevated to Head of Football Operations.

49ers are making Leeds United a force to be reckoned with.

Diggle brings nearly five years of experience as Liverpool’s Head of Coach Development, where he oversaw the development of coaches across the Academy, to his new post.
His prior nine-year stint with the Football Association, particularly as Head of Professional Game Coach Development, demonstrates his ability to produce professional game qualifications and manage technical staff.

Diggle’s hands-on experience at prestigious clubs such as Oldham Athletic and Bolton Wanderers helps him comprehend player development trajectories and the complexities of elite youth coaching.

Diggle’s appointment reflects Leeds United’s dedication to developing talent through their academy system.

His track record of achievement and skill in coach development will surely help Leeds United’s academy system grow and succeed.

The San Francisco 49ers are correctly restructuring the club behind the scenes, and maybe they will be able to brag about being in the Premier League in a few months.
