Selling out on loan Leeds United man stops 49ers accepting £40 million+ bids for crucial player – Report

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison might help the 49ers accumulate enough cash to avoid selling important players in the summer, notably Archie Gray.

With the summer approaching, much of Leeds’ plans depend on whether the club returns to the Premier League, allowing them to invest extensively and so keep key players.

Several loan players on the club’s books, notably Jack Harrison, have unresolved futures, and many of them are unlikely to return.

Leeds aim to sell Harrison to ensure Gray stays – Report.

According to Football Insider, Leeds are hoping to make considerable money this summer from players such as Jack Harrison and others.

The goal of selling these players following their loan stays is to reduce the pressure to sell crucial present players like Archie Gray.

Gray has emerged as one of England’s most sought-after players since joining Leeds in 23/24, with rumors saying that scouts from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were at Elland Road on Easter Monday.

The Daily Mail claimed earlier in the season that an asking price of £40-50million would be set for Gray, but since then he has signed a long-term contract and has seen his stock rise even more after standout performances for the club.

As for Harrison, £20million appears to be the going rate for Everton and any other sides potentially vying for his signature, a £9million profit on the 2021 signing Leeds made of the winger from Manchester City.

Loan players might balance our books quite well.

Diego Llorente, Rasmus Kristensen, Max Wöber, Jack Harrison, Brenden Aaronson, and Marc Roca could all bring a lot of money to Leeds this summer.

A number of them don’t appear to be worth selling, but Harrison, Wöber, Llorente, and Roca are all performing well enough to be considered for sale.

If that happens, we’ll have a lot more money to play with if we get promoted, which the other promoted clubs won’t have.
