Ever since relegation, things have actually been looking up for Leeds off the pitch with the 49ers confirming their complete takeover of the club.

This week brought interesting news as Oscar-winning actor and big Leeds fan Russell Crowe revealed on social media that he is one of the new investors under the 49ers’ stewardship.
It came as he announced Russell’s Indoor Garden Party at Brudenell Social Club this July, where he responded to a Leeds fan in the comments about his potential ties to Hollywood-invested Wrexham:
The actor, who was born in New Zealand, is expected to be worth $120 million (£95 million) in 2024 by Wealthy Persons.
The 59-year-old received $5 million for his breakthrough movie Gladiator, for which he won the Academy Award. He also received approximately $10 million for A Beautiful Mind and over $15 million for Robin Hood.
