Nottingham Forest do not appear to be slowing down their transfer activity as they attempt to add signing number seven.
Nuno Espirito Santo has been welcomed back by Evangelos Marinakis this summer, with six new players joining his side.
Brazilian reports even said that Forest had signed Ramon Sosa earlier this week.
That turned out not to be the case, but it appears that Forest are still eager to strike while the iron is hot and sign their seventh player.
Despite their efforts to land Sosa still rumbling away in the background, there is another player who the Reds are desperate to bring in this summer.
Nottingham Forest is determined to sign Olympian this summer.
Forest’s business in the summer market has been quite impressive, especially given the challenging 2023/24 season.
And those guys are already proving their worth on the pitch, with goalkeeper Matz Sels expressing his joy at playing with Nikola Milenkovic.
The Reds’ journey to Spain proved to be a fruitful one, as the summer arrivals were able to bond with their new teammates while also improving their fitness.
Although no new signings made the journey to Spain, Forest could yet add a few players before the start of the season.
According to Le 10 Sport, Forest are making virtually daily attempts to sign Bradley Locko from Stade Brestois.
Locko is currently excelling with the French Olympic squad in Paris, with reports linking him to the left-back dating back to last month.
With Napoli also interested in the defender, Forest are reported to have grabbed the lead in signing the 22-year-old.
With Brest staying fast on their €15 million (£13 million) valuation of the defender, Locko is expected to make the transfer to the City Ground.
Ola Aina has also impressed for Forest as a left-back.
Forest’s most recent pre-season friendly, a 0-0 draw against Villarreal at home, took place on Friday night.
Ola Aina, who was playing as a left-back, stood out in his first game back on home turf this summer.
Aina, 27, performed for over an hour in front of the City Ground throng, and journalist Paul Taylor praised her greatly.
“Ola Aina delivered another stunning performance tonight… “He’s even outdone Murillo in terms of massive shorts,” Taylor added.
