Archie Gray’s transfer to Tottenham is unlikely to be Leeds United’s final permanent sale this summer, and Daniel Farke has warned a young Elland Road player he can depart.
Gray has joined Tottenham for £40 million, easing strain on the 49ers’ financial stability. However, with a large amount of money still owed in player transfers, the board will still need to sell some.
Plenty has also been related. Brighton are reportedly interested in four Leeds players, including Willy Gnonto and Glen Kamara, but their £30 million deal for club record signing Georginio Rutter was refused.
Junior Firpo is ‘anticipated’ to leave Leeds when his contract expires in a year, which means he must be sold or sign a new agreement for Leeds to prevent being released on a free transfer. Patrick Bamford and Joel Piroe have expressed interest.

Cresswell almost followed Farke’s directions on Sunday and Monday. The defender flew to France to negotiate with Ligue 1 club Toulouse, who competed against Arne Slot’s Liverpool in the Europa League last season.
A £3.8 million deal was on the table, but it was called off on Monday when Toulouse was unable to reach an agreement with Cresswell. Leeds United released a video of its players returning to Thorp Arch on Tuesday.
Cresswell is seen in the film receiving a massage and stretching his legs before being harassed by Georginio Rutter in French. Other teams are likely to want to sign Leeds’ prospects in the coming weeks.
