According to Haber Ekspres, Fenerbahce has accepted a proposal from Ipswich Town for Ryan Kent, a transfer target from Leeds United.
On August 7, the Turkish publication revealed that Jose Mourinho’s team had accepted a bid for the Englishman that was estimated to be worth £2.5 million.
It is also stated that when the Whites attempted to negotiate with Fener on behalf of the attacker, no agreement could be achieved.
In the next several days, Kent is scheduled to depart from Istanbul and formally join the Tractor Boys.
Ryan Kent should be pursued more aggressively by Leeds United.
With Crysencio Summerville now out of Elland Road [Sean Whetstone, August 4], Leeds may bring in a player on either wing as a spare.
A few names have surfaced in relation to the Whites’ hunt for a successor for the Dutchman during the last few days.

Given this, there’s no reason why Daniel Farke couldn’t attempt to reach an agreement with the former Liverpool player and possibly even have enough cash left over to offer Dejan Ljubicic a second chance [Bild, 7 August].
Although nothing is finalized just yet, Leeds will need to move quickly if they hope to hire Kent before August 30. Otherwise, they might have missed the opportunity.
