Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Bell as its new Chief Operating Officer.

With over two decades of experience in sports marketing and an exceptional track record in the football industry, Paul offers a lot of knowledge and a large network of contacts to the club.

Paul joins Nottingham Forest after a successful seven-year term as Executive Director at Leeds United, where he drove commercial expansion and raised the club’s standing both domestically and internationally.

During his time at Leeds United, Paul helped the club achieve record commercial income, propelling it back into the renowned Deloitte Top 20 European Money League for the first time since 2002/03.

Over the course of five years, Paul led Leeds United’s retail division to become the fastest-growing in European football. He also helped the Yorkshire club secure large sponsorship partnerships with well-known businesses such as adidas, SBOTOP, Hisense, JD Sports, Heineken, and EA Sports.

Paul’s impact went beyond sponsorship, as he successfully delivered commercially-focused pre-season tours to Australia and Norway for Leeds United, as well as hosting a variety of international sports events and music concerts at Elland Road, including England Senior Men’s and Women’s team friendlies, Rugby League World Cup matches, and World Championship Boxing.

Forest Chairman Tom Cartledge stated, “We are happy to welcome Paul Bell to Nottingham Forest as our new Chief Operating Officer. His considerable experience, proven track record, and thorough awareness of the football landscape make him the ideal candidate to drive our club’s commercial and operational success.

“We look forward to leveraging his expertise as we further strengthen our senior team and redouble our efforts to drive the club’s future success and growth, on and off the pitch.”
