Flagg scored 28 points in Duke’s 93-60 victory over Wake Forest, probably his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

While not committing to the future, Flagg admits to “living in the moment” and appreciating the emotions of Senior Night.

Flagg reflected on his greatest moment of the season, a dunk against Pitt, and described Duke as “the best place in college basketball.”

Durham — The Cameron Crazies’ shouts began during the closing minutes of Duke basketball’s season finale at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

They continued after the second-ranked Blue Devils defeated the Demon Deacons 93-60 at Coach K Court.

“One more year!” One more year! “One more year!” screamed the Cameron Crazies, aiming their plea at Duke freshman Cooper Flagg.

The anticipated No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft has most likely played his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. At 3:34, Flagg exited for the final time, embracing head coach Jon Scheyer and having a moment with each of his teammates on the bench.

“Obviously, it’s the day and age, we have more than just seniors that it’s gonna be their last time playing in here,” Scheyer told the audience. “Not gonna get into speculating who that is or exactly all that.”

Following the game, a media member approached Flagg in the Duke locker room to inquire about his future plans.

“I’m living in the present right now,” Flagg said after finishing with 28 points (10 of 16 shooting), eight rebounds, seven assists, three blocks, and two steals in nearly 34 minutes.

“I’m living in the now. We’re taking it day by day, practice by practice, and game by game. “I’m not sure what the future holds.”

Another reporter stepped in, asking Flagg whether he had considered playing one last time on Coach K Court.

“For sure,” he said. “I’m just living in the moment. It is currently our final game of the year in Cameron.”

However, he admitted to “having a lot of emotion” as Duke recognized its seniors, which included graduate transfers Sion James and Mason Gillis. Flagg also shared his favorite Cameron memory from the season.

“My dunk vs. Pitt,” he said, smiling. “That was a pretty good moment.” It’s kind of surreal.”

Flagg took some time to think on what Duke means to him as the Blue Devils (27-3, 18-1 ACC) prepare to face rival North Carolina (19-11, 12-6).

“This is the best place in college basketball, for sure,” Flagg told the crowd. “I’ve enjoyed every minute of being here. I’ve loved everyone I’ve met and everyone I’ve spent the year with. “It has been an incredible year.”
