Forest are rumored to be chasing Wolves’ Brazilian ace, Matheus Cunha, during the January transfer window.
During the January transfer window, Wolves manager Vitor Pereira made it clear what his intentions were for Matheus Cunha’s future.
Nottingham Forest are thought to be considering a move for the Brazilian this month as they attempt to strengthen their assault in their bid for European football. According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old is “at the top” of Forest’s shopping list, with the transfer window closing in less than a fortnight. According to reports, the club has “serious interest” in Cunha and is “ready to make a play” for the attacker.
However, before the transfer window began, Pereira discussed the player’s future. “I hope he stays with us for a long time, but as a special player, he will undoubtedly have opportunities in his career,” he said after Cunha led Wolves to a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Molineux on Boxing Day.
“It’s about his personality as much as his technique. He is remarkable because he can take the ball under pressure and create magic out of nothing. It was incredible what he accomplished against United.”
“No, of course I do not want him to be sold in January,” Pereira continued.
