Nottingham Forest will face Exeter City in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, and ahead of the match, they have received some positive injury news.

Ahead of the match, Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Callum Hudson-Odoi is “coming back”, while Murillo has also re-joined the group normally.

Hudson-Odoi has missed the last two matches with a groin problem but he could be in line to face Exeter in the FA Cup clash.

“We will have to see, he’s coming back,” said the Forest boss.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is a key player for Forest, and getting him back into the side will be a massive boost for the club.

Nottingham Forest should take FA Cup seriously

After flirting with relegation last season, Forest are aiming for a top-four finish this season.

Espirito-Santo admitted that his side could have done better in the January transfer market, but they still have a very good squad that can pip all other rivals for the elusive Champions League spot.

The competition is fierce. Chelsea, Manchester City, and Newcastle United are likely to challenge them for the third and fourth spot.

Forest are heading into this game on the back of a 7-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League. Prior to that, they lost 5-0 against AFC Bournemouth.

It was their only defeat in the past 11 games, which means Forest have been able to maintain a remarkable consistency.

They should take the FA Cup seriously. While finishing in the top four should be their primary aim but winning a trophy would mean something else.

With Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur already out, they can go a long way in the FA Cup
