Nottingham Forest are linked with a player who could fix a long-term problem.
The East Midlanders are still hoping to add to their squad this summer, as Nuno Espirito Santo prepares for his first full season in charge.
Forest have just signed Jota Silva, their sixth signing this summer, and are now looking for a French defender.
However, if he does arrive, one of the team’s weakest areas will be much improved.
Bradley Locko would dramatically improve. Nottingham Forest
Last week, Nottingham Forest News published an article about the club’s continued efforts to recruit Brest left-back Bradley Locko.
A £13 million offer is anticipated to seal the deal for the 22-year-old, who wants to move to the City Ground this summer.
If Forest sign Locko, it will significantly enhance Nuno’s side, as Ola Aina and Harry Toffolo are now the only choices at left-back.
Both are solid, but if the East Midlanders want to move up the league and establish themselves as a mid-table team this season, they’ll need to improve, and Locko would accomplish just that.
Bradley Locko’s profile
Locko is currently overseas with France in the Olympics, demonstrating how well regarded he is.
The 2002-born has already made 79 appearances in Ligue 1, playing as a left-back and a left-midfielder, demonstrating his exceptional adaptability, which is an increasingly valued trait nowadays.
