Norwich City manager David Wagner has released an injury report for his players ahead of the Championship play-off semi-final against Leeds United.

Norwich City manager David Wagner has provided an injury report for his players ahead of their match against Leeds United this weekend. The two teams will face battle in the first leg of the play-off semi-final on Sunday at Carrow Road.

Despite their loss to Southampton on the final day of the Championship season, the Whites will be confident going into this game. Leeds secured all six points against Norwich this season, winning 3-2 away in October and 1-0 at Elland Road in January.

Following Ipswich Town’s 2-0 victory over newly relegated Huddersfield Town last weekend, Daniel Farke’s team were unable to return to the top flight of English football via the automatic promotion slots. Kieran McKenna has led his team to consecutive promotions and into the Premier League for the first time since 2002.

Leeds will now focus only on defeating Norwich and securing a place in the final at Wembley Stadium. The game is scheduled for May 27. Leeds last competed in the Championship play-off final in 2006, losing 3-0 to Watford. Norwich last competed in the match in 2015, when they defeated Middlesbrough 2-0.

In his news conference ahead of the meeting on Sunday, Wagner provided an update on several of his players, including Jonathan Rowe, Christian Fassnacht, and Ashley Barnes. He stated, “As predicted, Fasi and Rowe are back in training. Barnes will miss the first leg. No more doubts. Gibbs and Onel (Hernandez) ruled it out.”

The Norwich manager also addressed 32-year-old defender Shane Duffy, who was charged with drunk driving earlier this week. “He trained as normal for the full week,” he stated.

“The club issued a statement, and I don’t want to talk about it too much. It is a legal proceeding that is continuing. We’ll see how the week progresses. Everyone is quite focused.”
