Daniel Farke is sure to be considering how to replace Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter now that the Leeds United duo have been sold, but one player has recently highlighted how he may play a significant role.
Leeds has added Largie Ramazani and Manor Solomon to their roster since Rutter and Summerville’s departure. Both made their Leeds debuts last time out, as Farke’s side defeated Hull City 2-0 at Elland Road.
Solomon shone on the left wing, and it appears that the Israel captain will continue to play in that position during the coming season. It is unclear where Ramazani will play, having previously played on the left for Almeria.
Leeds has Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto on the right, with Brenden Aaronson in the 10 position. However, an injury here and there, or an interesting cameo role for Ramazani, may entice Farke to select him.
Ramazani informs Adam Pope that he can play in four spots.
The Belgian starred in La Liga, and while Farke has been quick to dismiss any comparisons to Summerville, it’s difficult to ignore them. Both pocket-sized speed machines exude flair, ferocity, and tenacity.
Ramazani, however, has informed BBC Radio Leeds that he is also versatile. He can play on either flank, as a striker, behind the striker, or as a false nine. This is ideal for Farke, who is looking for the greatest combo.
“I mean, I can perform anywhere. Up front or wherever. I feel at ease wherever I go. You know, I’m a winger, which is where I’m most comfortable, but I can also play behind the striker or as a false nine,” Ramazani explained.

The Belgian could get his chance in a Championship promotion match against Burnley this weekend, courtesy to the international break. Solomon, Aaronson, and Gnonto have all seen action.
They may be exhausted for many reasons when they return. Solomon played more than 80 minutes in two games, his second and third professional appearances in a year, whereas Aaronson had just played on Wednesday.
He faced New Zealand in Cincinnati early Wednesday morning, and due to jet lag, he may be granted a rest. Gnonto represented Italy twice, and Dan James may struggle to recover from his muscular ailment.
Ramazani might then get a chance to start against Scott Parker’s side this weekend. Farke says he intended to ease Ramazani in and give him time to adjust, but things could change by Saturday.
