The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news, Murillo is thought to be debating his Reds future, with teams like Chelsea and Tottenham attributed with an interest.
Murillo claims he has’received a few bids’ from around Europe, as one of Nottingham Forest’s crown jewels continues to draw transfer rumors.
The 21-year-old had an exceptional, if not quite flawless, debut season at the City Ground, displaying commendable defensive skills as well as true quality in possession of the ball, putting in performances that drew early attention.
He has continued to attract interest, which, combined with Forest’s Profitability & Sustainability Rules calculations and the current June 30 cut-off date for the current accounting quarter, has resulted in a frenzy of speculation. The player only seemed to exacerbate the situation with statements reported to him in Brazil.
The words, ascribed to Band by The Athletic, are fascinating reading for Forest fans. He is quoted as stating, “I have had a couple proposals. Some are official, while others are sounding out. I will bring it up with my manager. These were clubs from England, Italy, and Germany.
“If I stay in Nottingham, I will do my best. If I leave, I hope they would honor my decision. I’m calm and doing my best to analyse the situation.”
According to reports, he has been watched by’major’ Spanish clubs, as well as Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, and Forest estimate he is worth between £60 and £70 million. The centre-back joined Forest for £11 million from Corinthians in the summer of 2023, appearing in all but six of their 38 Premier League games. He is said to have four years remaining on his contract.
