Darwin Nunez’s days at Liverpool are numbered, but the club already has the ideal replacement in place.
Anfield Watch has revealed that Al Hilal are interested in the Uruguayan forward and have already made a bid to sign him from the Reds this month.
It is likely that Al Hilal will return with another offer as the Saudi club seeks to strengthen its roster ahead of the Club World Cup in the summer, where they are considered to be a significant contender.
Reuniting Nunez with his previous boss, Jorge Jesus, is a primary objective for Al Hilal, but it remains to be seen how determined the club is to complete the move.
It seems apparent that Nune’s Liverpool career is ended. However, the Reds will not mind because they already have a substitute in place.

Instead, in the short term, the club has a dynamic striker who is ready to replace Nunez and deserves to play in the first team.
That player is, of course, Jayden Danns.
Danns scored his third goal for Liverpool during the weekend in about 100 minutes of first-team action.
He has proven to be incredibly successful in every minute he spends on the field. And this midweek, he reminded Arne Slot by scoring against Slavia Prague for Liverpool’s U21 team.
It was a fantastic finish that demonstrated Danns’ ability in front of goal. He is just deadly in these scenarios, making him an ideal alternative for Nunez, who is the polar opposite of that.
Danns had a goal conversion rate of 23.07% at academy level, with 2.77 shots per 90 minutes, according to Wyscout.
But he’s more than simply a finisher; he dribbles 4.58 times per 90 and makes 1.38 passes into the opposing penalty area. He’s really good at dropping back and taking players on.
At the same time, he contributes defensively, making crucial recoveries and pressing his opponents high up the pitch.
All of this gives him the tools to be an excellent match for Slot’s club, and it’s time he was given a chance. Nunez should step aside; Danns is the ideal replacement.
