Chris Sutton has made a prediction on Nottingham Forest’s weekend trip to Brighton, according to the most recent news.
Chris Sutton believes Nottingham Forest’s upcoming matchup with Brighton will result in even more “misery.”
The Reds are still smarting from the refereeing miscall that hurt them so much the previous time they played Liverpool. They finish with four points, just one spot above the relegation zone, and a looming Profitability & Sustainability charge.
They travel to the Amex Stadium to take on a Brighton squad that has lost its past four games and was destroyed 4-0 by Roma in the Europa League on Thursday night.
“I am not sure if it is European football that has affected Brighton, but they are not the team they were last season,” analyst Sutton told BBC Sport, predicting that streak will end with a 2-1 victory.
“They have only lost one league game at the Amex Stadium, so their home record is still rather respectable, but I’m not sure how big of a hit Thursday’s Europa League loss at Roma will take out of them.
“Last Saturday, Nottingham Forest became very irate and blamed the referee for their dramatic loss to Liverpool. However, I found that to be a little absurd considering the winning goal came just a few minutes after they should have had the ball after a restart.
However, it seems like Forest is still upset, and their attitude isn’t getting much better. I’m supporting Brighton to make things worse for them.
