Leeds United began their Championship campaign with a 3-3 draw against Portsmouth over the weekend.

The Whites will be disappointed with their season opener, and manager Daniel Farke will be eager to recruit more reinforcements.

Following Crysencio Summerville’s move to West Ham United, they are believed to be looking for a replacement.

Leeds have identified Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe, and the most recent update on the transaction is now available.

Leeds are still in the Jonathan Rowe battle.

Mike McGrath, a Daily Telegraph journalist, took to X on Monday morning to give the latest on Leeds United’s pursuit of Rowe.

Marseille appear to be leading the battle for the 2003-born attacker, but McGrath highlighted that Leeds is still a contender.

The Whites are also said to be interested in signing Crystal Palace wide player Jerusun Rak-Sakyi, but it appears that the Eagles are unwilling to let him depart on a permanent basis.

Leeds should keep Morgan Whittaker on their radar.

Morgan Whittaker, Rowe, and Rak-Sakyi should all be on Leeds’ transfer shortlist.

The 23-year-old had a fantastic season with Plymouth Argyle last year, scoring 20 goals and assisting nine others.

The left-footed right winger would offer Farke’s team with excellent balance and could be a less expensive alternative to Rak-Sakyi.

Whittaker is considered to be available for roughly £10 million, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, which is shockingly low for a player of his caliber and promise.

Lazio were even interested in signing the Plymouth attacker earlier this year, indicating how highly regarded he is.
