Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive: goalkeeper Matt Turner will return to the club after the USMNT’s Copa America exit.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner has publicly supported USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter following their heartbreaking Copa America defeat.

Turner and his USMNT teammates were eliminated from the knockout stages after losing 1-0 to Uruguay in their last group game on Monday night. Following the final whistle, some national team fans chanted ‘fire Gregg’.

Turner spoke to FOX after the match and expressed his support for Berhalter, who is under pressure. “I see no issue with the direction that we’re heading,” he told me.
