Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United is questionable
Marcus Rashford is apparently the target of an audacious trade involving Manchester United.
Clubs from all around the world will be searching for ways to bolster their playing roster when the January transfer market opens.
Rashford’s future will be the main topic of discussion regarding United following his eye-opening chat with Henry Winter last month.
After being left out of the Manchester derby by Ruben Amorim, Rashford announced his desire to look for a new challenge. When asked directly if he would be staying or going, the 27-year-old said, “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.” Since then, Rashford has not played a minute for the Red Devils as they started a four-game losing streak, and clubs in the Saudi Pro League, the MLS, and other parts of Europe have since been linked to a move for the Englishman.
Could Manchester United get a top target by using Marcus Rashford in a trade?
It has been suggested that Rashford would be traded to United in order to acquire Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli.
According to The Sun, Antonio Conte, the manager of Napoli, is eager to work with Rashford. This might allow Osimhen to transfer to Old Trafford, since Amorim wants to bolster his team’s quality.
The Nigerian has a clause in his contract that permits him to transfer teams permanently this month, but he is currently on loan at Galatasaray of the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen has scored 65 goals in 108 Serie A games since joining Napoli in 2020.
The striker has been linked to a move to United and other Premier League clubs in recent years due to his impressive numbers in Italy.
Rashford may be used by United in an offer to finally sign Osimhen, given Napoli’s obvious interest in him.
When questioned about the Premier League last year, Osimhen told Corriere Della Sera: “I think it is a desire of all players. And one day, who knows?
“I promise you, I’m not even thinking about it right now. It would distract me from a lovely season. Only Napoli is on my mind.
