Leeds United’s Daniel James has received a message from Middlesbrough loanee Luke Ayling.
The message came after the former scored in his 50th Wales cap against Finland on Thursday (March 21).
James scored from the bench in the 4-1 Euro 2024 play-off semi-final victory at Cardiff City Stadium.
James took to Instagram to celebrate the double feat, writing: “What an honour to represent my nation for the 50th time and to do so with a goal! On to Tuesday,” with Ayling adding, “Love it DJ.”
Leeds United stars shine as Wales secure play-off final position.
The current international break includes a huge number of friendly, with players traveling all around the world with their respective countries.
However, Wales is competing for something even more important, as Rob Page’s squad has advanced to the Euro 2024 play-off final.
And, fortunately for his players and Daniel Farke, considering that he has four players in the Wales squad, their games will be played in Cardiff.
The same venue will host the final against Poland, with a lucrative spot in this summer’s championship up for grabs.
It’s unclear whether Elland Road ace James will start or not, with another substitute appearance likely given how well it worked last time out.
