According to Football Insider, Leeds United are prepared to accept a suitable offer if Championship Player of the Season Crysencio Summerville leaves in the summer.

According to sources, the 22-year-old’s departure is now “inevitable” after the Whites failed to reclaim Premier League status.

Summerville is getting the greatest interest among Leeds’ best players following his outstanding performance in the 2023-24 season.

This season, the Netherlands Under-21 international made 49 appearances for Leeds in all competitions, starting 45 of them.

He scored 21 goals and assisted 10 times, but Leeds were defeated by Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (May 26).

The Yorkshire giants now face an increasing need to sell players during the summer transfer season.

Leeds resigned to losing Summerville, with £150 million in sales needed.

Football Insider reported on Sunday (26 May) that the Whites must recoup an incredible £150 million in player sales after failing to earn promotion.

The club owes £190 million for Andrea Radrizzani-era transfers, and their most recent financial statements show a £33.7 million loss on player sales.

Summerville, who joined Leeds from Feyenoord in 2020, has a contract at Elland Road until June 2026.

He debuted for the club in 2021 and has since established himself as their most significant and valuable player.

Daniel Farke’s side finished third in the Championship this season and will play another season in the second division beginning on August 10.
