According to the Daily Record, Leeds United and Newcastle are competing to sign Kilmarnock attacker Zander Craik.

The Scottish news outlet stated on February 26 that the Whites had dispatched scouts to watch the 18-year-old play recently.

As his contract with the Scottish club expires at the end of the season, Kilmarnock has offered him a new contract.

Leeds United must overcome Newcastle for Craik’s services.
Leeds has developed a reputation for acquiring young players and providing them first-team debuts at an early age.

Craik has proven to be a cut above the rest of the under-18s, scoring four goals and adding an assist in a single game this season.

Craik’s versatility as a striker, combined with his ability to adapt to varied playing systems, make him an invaluable addition to any club.

Signing him would not only strengthen the Whites’ under-21 attacking options, but would also ensure a quality young player for the future.

Despite the challenge of defeating Newcastle, Leeds must demonstrate their desire and vision to persuade Craik to select Elland Road over St. James’ Park since he will have a better chance of playing first-team football there.
