Leeds want ‘Huge’ permanent attacker move, personal terms not an issue, according to report

Leeds United are very interested in signing Manuel Benson from Burnley before August 30, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The Belgian journalist has revealed that the attacker is about to quit Turf Moor, with a permanent exit expected soon.

Leeds, as well as other Championship clubs such as Sunderland and Norwich City, are thought to have no issues with personal terms.

Leeds United are preparing for Manuel Benson’s transfer.

Fans are clamouring for fresh signings at Elland Road, particularly with the confirmed departure of Georginio Rutter, who has joined Brighton for £40 million.

Leeds have even more money to play with now that Hoffenheim will not receive a sell-on fee, as rumours [Nancy Froston] suggested.

That should mean the Whites won’t have to pay a large fee to Burnley, but there will almost certainly be additional fees because they are direct rivals and everyone knows they have that much money to spend right now.

This will be one to keep an eye on in the coming days, since Sunderland player Jack Clarke is also interested in returning to Elland Road [Sunday Mirror], which would cost significantly more money.

However, with two attackers sought, those two additions might improve Daniel Farke’s and Leeds’ fortunes following a sluggish start to the season.

Let’s hoping this one goes swiftly; it’s sorely needed.
