Latest Leeds United news and gossip as Daniel Farke’s squad has only six more Championship matchups to try to clinch automatic promotion against rivals Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Southampton.

Leeds United have only six more games to try to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Daniel Farke’s team defeated Hull City 3-1 on Easter Monday in another Championship thriller. Sam Byram, Crysencio Summerville, and Dan James scored to help United secure three crucial points at Elland Road.

Leeds’ victory placed the team back into the Championship’s automatic promotion places, ahead of Leicester City, who still have a game in hand. On Easter Monday, both Ipswich Town and Leicester City won their respective races for automatic promotion.

Leeds have high hopes of finishing in the top two to secure a return to the Premier League. However, the same can be said about their three promotion rivals, Ipswich, Leicester, and, to a lesser extent, Southampton.
