Leeds United could be open to bids for winger Jack Harrison, who is currently on loan at Everton in the Premier League.
Leeds’ summer business at the end of the season will be heavily influenced by their division, but loan players on the books will also play a significant role.
Luis Sinisterra was the first to go permanently for a transfer fee, moving to Bournemouth last week, but others should follow suit.
Jack Harrison update: Leeds will listen to bids.
According to Football Insider, Leeds would consider bids for winger Jack Harrison at the end of the season.
He joined Everton for the 23/24 season and has been a reliable member of Sean Dyche’s persistent strugglers.
Their battle to avoid relegation and continued financial difficulties mean they are currently unwilling to commit to signing Harrison, leaving the door open for multiple bidders in the Premier League and even Europe.
Leeds are expected to make a significant profit on the £11 million signing.
Harrison joined Leeds from Manchester City for £11 million in 2021, and that figure will almost certainly be surpassed by the team to which Leeds sells the winger.
He won’t be welcomed back to Leeds, and he wouldn’t even be in our starting eleven right now given our attacking quality, particularly on the left side.
What Leeds can receive for the winger remains to be seen, but it will be close to what we got for Sinisterra at £20 million, one would hope and expect.
Making a £9 million profit on a player we signed three years ago is an excellent result for Leeds’ finances, whether it is for a Premier League spending spree or a Championship reconstruction in 24/25.
