    HIGHLIGHTS

    • Everton is considering turning Jack Harrison’s loan into a permanent deal to free up a loan place.
    • Any transaction will depend on Leeds United’s willingness to cash in on him.
    • Leeds must make a difficult decision if a permanent offer is received.

Everton are considering turning Jack Harrison’s loan spell into a permanent move to free up a loan place.

This is according to Give Me Sports.

The Toffees have signed Harrison on two season-long loan deals, with the first coming after Leeds United’s relegation to the Championship last year.

This agreement suited the Merseyside team, who couldn’t afford to spend too much money.

Harrison wasn’t particularly efficient in front of goal for Sean Dyche’s side during the 2023/24 season, but the latter chose to make a new signing for the Englishman this summer.

They may have had to pay his salaries in full for him to make a second loan switch to Goodison Park, but they did not have to pay a loan fee, making this a very inexpensive agreement for them.

However, it is uncertain where the winger’s long-term future lies, and it remains to be seen whether Harrison would want to return to the Toffees on loan if the option arises next season.

At 27, the player may be eager to settle down in one place for the long term, and a solution could be just around the corner.

Everton are pondering a permanent move for Jack Harrison.

The 27-year-old is another player who might be sold for a good price this summer, with Leeds already cashing in on Archie Gray and Glen Kamara.

Some of those who left Elland Road on loan last summer have now made permanent moves, including Robin Koch to Frankfurt and Luis Sinisterra to AFC Bournemouth.

Harrison has left on loan again, but the Toffees are considering a permanent transfer for him, with the club also interested in signing Kalvin Phillips and Armando Broja on loan.

Because of this, freeing up a loan place might be excellent for the Merseyside club; however, there is no fixed buy option in this temporary agreement with the Whites.

If they are to secure a permanent deal, Leeds must be willing to accept an offer, and it is unclear at this time whether Daniel Farke’s side are willing to cash in on the player.

Leeds United could have a difficult decision on Jack Harrison this summer.

Harrison is a player who might bring Leeds a lot of money if he is sold this summer.

With the winger clearly unwilling to play in the second tier for the Whites, some Leeds fans may be eager to see him go and be willing to accept the winger’s likely permanent exit.

Crysencio Summerville, Dan James, and Willy Gnonto are also valuable wing options for West Yorkshire.

However, Harrison might be an excellent player to have in the 2025/26 season if Leeds are promoted at the end of the current campaign.

And, with the player’s contract not expiring until the summer of 2028, Leeds should not be willing to accept a low compensation for him.
