According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United are attempting to sign Liverpool offensive midfielder Fabio Carvalho on loan.

Whites manager Daniel Farke has claimed that he is delighted with the team he has at his disposal, but the club is trying to do business in the transfer season behind the scenes.

Carvalho has recently returned to Liverpool after a loan spell at RB Leipzig in Germany during the first half of the season.

He did not play consistently in Germany; Liverpool will loan him out again, and Leeds want him at Elland Road.

The Whites are attempting to sign Carvalho but face stiff competition.

Southampton and Hull City are also putting in serious efforts to get the Portuguese midfielder.

Wolves are also interested and would provide Carvalho with a chance to play in the Premier League.

Liverpool will carefully consider the best loan move for Carvalho and will make certain that he plays regular games wherever he goes.
