Daniel Farke wants to bring in more reinforcements before the end of the August summer window.

Leeds United recognizes the need for reinforcements in a variety of areas ahead of the August deadline.

After losing three key first-team players this summer, Daniel Farke and his club will need to work quickly to find replacements to help them challenge at the top of the Championship again this season. Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Alex Cairs, and Joe Rothwell have already arrived, but the Whites continue to struggle up front.

Joe Piroe and teenage attacker Mateo Joseph have been underwhelming thus far this season, which is understandable given that crucial player Crysencio Summerville has gone for the Premier League. Much more is needed in attack, but that could be about to change for Leeds.

According to French journalist Marc Mechenoua, United and Norwich City are both interested in exciting forward Jusef Erabi of Swedish club Hammarby. The Sweden Under-21 international has eight goals in 17 Allsvenskan games this season and continues to impress.

Mechenoua further reports that the asking price for the Swedish striker is €10 million (£8.5 million), and that talks with Leeds are already underway, with all parties concerned aware of the requisite amount. Erabi progressed through Hammarby’s youth divisions before becoming a fixture in the first squad over the last two seasons.

He is under contract in Sweden until January 2026, but given Leeds’ current struggles in front of goal, a deal might be reached before the end of the summer window.
