Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto will be available for £20-30 million this summer, and the club will accept an offer at the top end of that range, according to Football Insider sources.
On the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior writer Pete O’Rourke reported that other clubs will be keenly monitoring the winger during the summer transfer window.
O’Rourke said that the 20-year-old has previously had interest from Premier League clubs as well as Italian clubs.
However, he said that the Whites will not want to sell star players like Gnonto, with promotion this season likely to benefit them in that regard.
Leeds United put a £30 million price tag on Elland Road star.
Promotion back to the Premier League will also allow the Elland Road club to invest in new players and enhance their roster for the top division, according to O’Rourke.
The Whites are now third in the Championship table, with immediate promotion to the first flight on the horizon this season.
Gnonto has played an important role in their success under Daniel Farke, making 38 appearances across all competitions.
The 20-year-old has eight goals and two assists, but has struggled to secure a regular starting spot.
It remains to be seen what his future at Elland Road holds, with the future of Leeds likely to have a significant impact on where Gnonto and other Whites stars play football next season.
According to Football Insider, Gnonto, along with Leeds teammates Ethan Ampadu, Crysencio Summerville, and Joe Rodon, are anticipated to attract Premier League interest this summer.
