If Leeds United decide to sell Illan Meslier this summer, they will seek a figure “in excess” of £20 million, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper’s web edition indicated that Ligue 1 club Marseille was interested in the goalie this summer.
According to the article, the Whites have already looked into potential successors.

Meslier has been an integral part of the Leeds side since joining from FC Lorient in 2020.
Despite being demoted to the Championship last season, the Frenchman remained with the West Yorkshire side and was one of the club’s best players.
He played 49 games in all, keeping 21 clean sheets.
Although Leeds has been rumored to be under pressure to sell by June 30th, the club is in “no rush” to sell following recent investment from the Red Bull group [Leeds Live, 21 June].
And, with Crysencio Summerville reportedly on his way out this summer [Ben Jacobs, 24 June], Leeds’ retention of Meslier could be critical to their promotion prospects.
Although the Whites do not currently have a viable young replacement for the Frenchman in their ranks, if Summerville or Meslier leave, they will have enough of funds to recruit a suitable replacement with Karl Darlow.
