Jürgen Klopp will give over the reigns to Arne Slot this summer. The current Liverpool manager will take command for the final time against Wolves on Sunday.
Jürgen Klopp has issued his opinion on Arne Slot and informed his successor of the biggest challenge he will face at Liverpool.
Klopp will take command of Liverpool for the final time tomorrow when the Reds meet Wolves, marking the end of his nearly nine-year tenure at Anfield. It’s bound to be an emotional event, since the German has already said his farewell to players and staff this week.
And once the dust settles and Klopp has saluted the Kop for the final time, he will pass over the reins to Slot. The current Feyenoord manager has stated he will take over at Liverpool.

Jürgen Klopp’s letter demonstrates that he perfectly understands what it means to be Liverpool manager.
He will have a big act to follow, though, as Klopp revolutionized the club during his time at Anfield. The retiring manager is convinced Slot can fit in at Liverpool, but the club will have to change.
“It was a big thing when I said that I would step aside here, because I know what it means to a lot of other people, what they think and how they are used to me (being here),” Klopp stated to ECHO. “There is a really good mood in here, and a really wonderful relationship. Whether on a bad or good day, this building has a really lovely vibe. We like each other.
“The reason for this is that if I don’t feel good when I walk into the building, I don’t let them feel that way. It’s not like I come in and say, “What are you doing?” You are late!’ and so on. Not at all. We genuinely enjoy working together.
“I know the next one (manager) will be a great guy, and everything will be good, but it will be different. People are experiencing a great deal of uncertainty, which I did not wish for them.
“But I knew that if I left in another year or two, it would be the same for these individuals, but only in one or two years. That cannot be a justification not to do it. But it was a significant component, and I had to overcome it.
“I had to think about myself first, which doesn’t happen often because I can handle almost anything. So come to me and tell me, and it’s great whether I figure it out or not, but I can handle it. But things have changed.
“With all the changes now, coaches traveling around, for some it’s great, for others it’s fine. However, we spent over nine years together in a club, which is really unique. We have to appreciate our time together, which is how we all see it now, although it was obviously difficult at first.
