Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive: Joe Worrall discusses his debut for Besiktas.

Joe Worrall was disappointed with his debut for Besiktas.
The Nottingham Forest defender played all 90 minutes of their Super Lig match against Kayserispor, which concluded in a 0-0 tie. Worrall, who has joined Besiktas on loan until the end of the season, stated that the “only positive” was the clean sheet.

He explained, “We played away. The only good news is that we did not concede a goal. We must win these types of contests.

“We must create opportunities. Besiktas must win these matches.”

Worrall will make his home debut for Besiktas against Konyaspor on Monday. The Turkish club has the option to make his move from Forest permanent in the summer, and he has previously discussed his long-term plans since leaving the City Ground.
“I signed a new contract extension but obviously my game time was limited with the new manager coming in and the direction that the club wanted to go in,” he said on talkSPORT.

“For me, it’s all about getting match fit and me sitting there is doing nobody any favours so it’s all about playing games and then we’ll see.”
