Chris Sutton has shared his opinion on how Nuno’s Nottingham Forest will perform against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
Nottingham Forest will face Brighton & Hove Albion away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Forest will be hoping to recover from last weekend’s contentious Premier League defeat to Liverpool at the City Ground.
Chris Sutton, a former Aston Villa and Chelsea striker, has criticized Forest once more for focusing too much on the refereeing error in injury time against Liverpool.
The BBC Sport predicts Brighton to win 2-1 versus Forest and take all three points.
Chris Sutton believes Nottingham Forest will lose at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Sutton told BBC Sport: “I’m not sure if European football has had an impact on Brighton, but they’re not the same team as last season.
Their home record is still quite good, with only one league defeat at the Amex Stadium, but I’m not sure how much Thursday’s Europa League defeat at Roma will deplete them.
“Nottingham Forest were furious last weekend after blaming the referee for their last-gasp defeat to Liverpool, which seemed a little absurd to me because the winning goal came a couple of minutes after they should have been given the ball from a restart.
“Forest is probably still upset now, and I don’t see much improvement here. I’m betting for Brighton to make their lives even more miserable.
“Sutton’s prediction: 2-1.”
