Nottingham Forest defender Nuno Tavares has provided an update on his most recent injury setback. The player hasn’t played since February’s 2-0 win against West Ham.

Now, the athlete has spoken with the Portuguese publication Jornal de Noticias. Harry Toffolo has filled in for Tavares, who has missed the last three Premier League games.

Forest have lost all three games in which the 24-year-old has been absent, indicating that he has been missed.

Nuno Tavares offers an update on Nottingham Forest’s return.

Well, it appears like the brilliant left-back will not be out of play for long. His injuries is not regarded to be very serious, and this information is greatly appreciated.

Tavares has spoken about his injuries, and it appears like he will be back in no time to help the Forest cause.

He told Jornal de Noticias: “I didn’t complete my pre-season training, which is why I got that initial injury. I was well till I got injured again. Obviously, I’m disappointed to not be doing what I enjoy, but I’ll be back soon.”

Tavares may have had to wait for his moment at Forest. Steve Cooper signed the player on loan from Arsenal, although he did not play regularly.

Forest needs the defender back immediately.

With Forest battling for form, Tavares must return as soon as possible. The Reds have struggled without the attacking drive of their left-back, which is severely missed.

Tavares has taken some time to settle in Forest. Fans are now beginning to realize what the squad misses out on when he isn’t playing.

It’s encouraging to learn that the player isn’t far from returning. Tavares can be an important player for Forest before the season ends, and he hopes to return after the international break.
