I understand… Rob Dorsett outlines what the FA is doing with Nottingham Forest today

Rob Dorsett, a Sky Sports correspondent, has described what the FA will do regarding Nottingham Forest today.

Once again, the Reds will be in the dock.

Yesterday’s 2-0 loss to Everton was tarnished by three extraordinary decisions that have left Forest fuming.

The club issued a statement following the game, which saw Forest condemned by Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, among others.

Forest can expect another letter of apology from Howard Webb, who claimed yesterday that he had not yet talked with anyone at the club.

Dorsett has now been on Sky to discuss the next steps, and it appears that this may bite Forest in the behind.

Rob Dorsett provides a Nottingham Forest report.

The Sky Sports broadcaster is the man who has his finger on the pulse at the City Ground, and he has just provided an update.

Forest will apparently face some type of discipline for their statement yesterday, which addressed Stuart Attwell and his support for Luton Town.

Naturally, Forest is likely to have broken a rule, and it appears that some action will be taken today.

Dorsett stated live on Sky Sports: “I fully expect charges to follow.”

“However, it’s a complicated one; will the club be held liable, or the individual who wrote the actual post?

“I understand the FA disciplinary committee are meeting over whether to charge Nottingham Forest or not this morning.”

Forest should have considered before posting.

In a week when Forest will find out whether or not they will receive any points from their financial fair play appeal, this may not be the finest appearance.

However, it appears that the powers that be do not want Forest to compete in the Premier League. Either that, or the decision to appoint Mark Clattenburg proved unpopular.

Forest should reflect before posting on social media in the future. Many clubs have expressed dissatisfaction with VAR this season, and the Reds are not alone.

However, other teams have not received as many letters of apology, and the club may have a valid reason to be frustrated.

Forest has a proud history, and as Dorsett notes, the Reds may now face another disciplinary hearing.

The end of the present campaign cannot arrive soon enough!
