“Gradually” – Injury Expert Issues Game Time Claim as Leeds Wants to Sign International Defender

Khuliso Mudau, a Mamelodi Sundowns defender, is unlikely to make an immediate impact for Leeds United, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

According to the injury specialist, the 29-year-old’s lack of experience playing outside of South Africa will make it more difficult for him to adjust to life in England.

This follows Soccer Laduma’s report on June 11 that the Whites were considering signing the South African international.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, stated about Mudau:

“There are several elements he will have to adjust to, including physically, with the intensity of the league, and emotionally, with a significant shift in his environment, climate, living situation, and possibly separation from family and friends.

“It will take him some time to adjust to these adjustments, and I expect him to eventually transition into a first-team regular.

“It also depends on how quickly he joins and how much of pre-season training he actually undergoes.”

Leeds United must avoid the Khuliso Mudau transfer.

Leeds’ decision to sign Mudau is viewed as risky owing to his lack of European football experience and the probable linguistic and cultural obstacles he may confront.

He has not played outside of South Africa, which could have an impact on his performance and availability for the team.

Furthermore, the defender may face difficulties when the English Championship becomes more physically demanding and tough.
