Football Insider has been informed by sources that Brenden Aaronson has no future at Leeds United.

The 23-year-old USA international is reportedly not likely to return to his parent club once his season-long loan to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga expires.

The Whites fully anticipate that in the summer, he will leave Elland Road for a new club—either permanently or through another loan move.

Football Insider has been informed by reliable sources that Daniel Farke’s team will list the offensive midfield player for sale and will consider any reasonable bids.

Leeds United decides what to do with Brenden Aaronson

After Leeds was relegated from the Premier League the previous season, Aaronson was among a number of the club’s talents to go on loan.

He moved to Berlin, where they are aiming to qualify for the Champions League, but both he and his team have had a difficult season.

The attacker has only scored once in 28 appearances across all competitions.

This season, Aaronson has only made six starts in the league and has only received one start in his previous eight games.

After reportedly leaving Red Bull Salzburg for Leeds last season for a whopping £24.7 million, he had a lackluster debut campaign.

He made 41 appearances in all competitions, tallying two goals and three assists. During Leeds’ dreadful final six league games, he was benched.

Following their 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town on Saturday, Leeds is still in third place in the Championship, five points off the top spot. (2 March).

Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday evening, March 5, against Stoke City.
